Public content only
We never sign in to Instagram, import browser cookies or use a logged-in session. That means anything requiring an account to view — private profiles, stories, close-friends posts — is out of reach by design, not by oversight.

Posts containing several photos or videos are downloaded together as one ZIP. Each file is numbered in the same order as the Instagram slides.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I download from a private Instagram account?
- No. Downloading from a private account would require using someone's login session, which we do not do under any circumstances.
- Can I download Instagram Stories?
- No. Stories require an authenticated session to view, so they are outside what this tool can access.
- What about photos rather than videos?
- Public image posts download in their original JPG or WebP format. Multi-photo and mixed photo/video carousels download as a ZIP containing every slide.
- Do you store the videos I download?
- No. Files are processed temporarily and deleted automatically once the download link expires, normally within 15 to 30 minutes. Nothing is kept in a permanent library.
