Privacy policy
This is a short policy because the service collects very little. There are no accounts and no permanent media storage.
Last updated 27 August 2026
What we collect
Your media, temporarily. Files you upload, and files fetched from links you submit, are held in private temporary storage only for as long as the job needs them.
The link you submit, encrypted. While a job runs, the source URL is stored encrypted so the job can complete. After that, only the domain and a salted hash remain.
A hash of your IP address. We never store your IP address in full. We store a one-way salted hash, which cannot be reversed back to your address but does let us enforce rate limits and investigate abuse.
Technical logs. Job identifiers, processing stages, durations and error codes. These contain no media, no filenames with content, no download links and no raw IP addresses.
What we never collect
- Names, email addresses or payment details — there is no account to create
- Your platform logins, passwords or session cookies, under any circumstances
- A permanent copy of anything you download or convert
- A browsable history of what any individual has processed
How long we keep things
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Uploaded or fetched source file | Deleted immediately after processing |
| Finished file | Deleted when the download link expires (15–30 minutes) |
| Abandoned upload | Deleted automatically within 30 minutes |
| Failed job files | Deleted automatically, usually within minutes |
| Encrypted source URL | Removed when the job expires |
| Technical logs (no media) | Up to 30 days |
| Abuse and copyright reports | Retained as long as legally required |
Advertising and analytics
The site is funded by advertising. Advertising partners may set cookies or similar identifiers under their own privacy policies. Where consent is legally required, you will be asked before non-essential cookies are set.
We use aggregate analytics to understand which tools are used and where errors occur. Events carry only categorical information such as the media type, output format and a size range. Full URLs, filenames, download links and IP addresses are never sent to any analytics provider.
Third parties
We use infrastructure providers for hosting, temporary storage and error monitoring. They process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We do not sell personal data, and there is very little to sell — we do not know who you are.
Your rights
Because there is no account and no durable record tied to you, most data requests resolve themselves: your files are already gone. If you believe content of yours was processed and you want to raise it, use the report form or the contact page.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
